Joy Montessori School has worked successfully to build what Dr. Montessori has called a cohesive community for children and their families. We are a richly diverse student body and faculty, and our children learn in a prepared Montessori environment with well educated and experienced professional teachers. Our classroom environments are child sized, inviting and well equipped with age appropriate developmentally designed materials.
We invite families from all economic, ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds to participate in the education of their children. We believe that educating the "whole child" includes fostering cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. Children are respected as different from adults and as individuals who differ from each other.
Our mission is to provide the highest quality of well-rounded education, socially, emotionally, intellectually and artistically, for children from all over the globe and from all walks of life, so that they may achieve their fullest potential as critical thinkers, learners, explorers, inventors, artists, leaders, and, ultimately, citizens of the world.
To generate a world of creative thinkers, lifetime learners, and community builders who are willing to work with each other and are comfortable with diversity, by providing a safe, secure, stimulating environment which nurtures the mental, physical and spiritual growth of the child.
